Frey Vineyards has always been family-owned and operated. Today, a third generation helps with the production of fine organic wines in a tradition of sustainability started 30 years ago. Their vineyards and winery are nestled on the slopes of Redwood Valley in Mendocino County, California, at the headwaters of the Russian River.

For over three decades, they have been vanguards in crafting wine without added sulfites. Their innovative winemaking techniques compensate for the lack of this synthetic preservative (which can induce headaches, sniffles, and other allergic reactions in some people). The wine is therefore free to reveal its delicate and true flavors.

They craft award-winning, minimally processed wines that reflect the pure aromas, flavors, and spirit of where they come from. Frey Vineyards proudly continues the tradition of sustainability as America's first producer of certified organic and biodynamic wines.
